Eco-Anxiety – A New Kind of Anxiety and What to do About it

Our CARES Youth Collective and staff just published in Frontiers for Young Minds (kids.frontiersin.org) to share “Eco-Anxiety – A New Kind of Anxiety and What to do About it.”

Created for and by students and based on international research, “Eco-Anxiety – A New Kind of Anxiety and What to do About it” defines eco-anxiety, tells young readers about how many and which youth are most likely to experience eco-anxiety, and shares suggestions for all ages of how to manage climate related anxiety in a changing climate. Special thanks and recognition to the practitioners-in-training, Charlotte Gemperle and Natalia Ha and faculty advisor Stephanie Violante who brought it together!

If you haven’t yet shared your research with younger, curious scientists of tomorrow, we highly recommend working with Frontiers for Young Minds. It’s a delightful publishing process to bring big ideas to younger audiences.
